Jackie, your passing has left such a hole in the hearts of this family. All three of my children have had the pleasure of you either teaching them or being there for them as a friendly face. I remember coming to help with the story sacks and listening to children read when I had just started my own teaching career. Your legacy will live on more than you will ever know.

Miss Brown, i feel so privileged to have had the chance to get to know you, both as a teacher and a friend. You were the kind of teacher whose name will be remembered by pupils when they tell children about their memories of school days. A teacher who would make time for every pupil, parent and teacher, and a lady who put her whole heart into the job she was truly amazing at!! Thank you for our memories which we will hold in our heart forever. From stacey veitch & Peter Rankin X

Thank you for all you did for Nell. She thrived in your care. I’m so glad I got to tell you this in person before Christmas. Im glad we shared a laugh about me being terrified of you at first. I really needn’t have been. You were not only supportive of my children but of me too. Always happy to chat about any concerns. Nell is adamant she’s going to be a teacher when she grows up, and I suspect that’s all down to you. She adored you. It hurts my heart to think of the children returning to Y2 on Monday, and you not being there, at the top of the steps to welcome them in. But I have no doubt in my mind that your colleagues will do you proud. You will be huge miss. Rest in peace Ms Brown. Love from Lucy, Iain, Chester and Nell x

Miss Brown you will be a huge loss to SHPA . After a guided tour from you I decided to remove Benjamin from the school he previously attended, and have never regretted that decision. As luck would have it you became his teacher for two years running and he improved from day one, I was so pleased Samuel also was taught by you if only for a short while . Sadly missed but never forgotten.

I’m so proud to say Miss Brown was my teacher in Year 2 even if it was not for the full year due to lock down and missing a lot of school. Miss Brown taught and I learnt so much in that short space of time. I will miss saying “Good Morning” each morning at the top of the stairs and seeing you around school.
