Nursery Teacher and EYFS Lead
Skye Lowes
As the South Hylton Primary Nursery Teacher and EYFS Lead, Skye brings nine years of dedicated experience to the Academy. Since qualifying as an NQT, Skye has spent most of her career working in either Nursery or Reception, and she holds a degree in Primary Education from Manchester Metropolitan University. Skye’s passion for working with young children and their families is evident in her commitment to being part of the community.

Teaching Assistant
Demi Bewick
As a valued member of the Nursery team at South Hylton Primary Academy, Demi has given two and a half years of dedicated service in Early Years education. Demi has nearly a decade of prior experience working in private nurseries, alongside a Level 5 BTEC qualification working with Children and Families. Demi is deeply committed to ensuring children have a wonderful start to their school life, providing them with engaging and enriching learning experiences.

Teaching Assistant
Louise Chisholm
Louise Chisholm proudly serves as a Teaching Assistant in the Explorers two-year-old provision at South Hylton Primary Academy. With seven years of dedicated service at SHPA, Louise has been an integral part of the Early Years provision. Prior to joining South Hylton, she gained experience in private nurseries across England, Scotland, and Cyprus.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Louise Eltringham
As a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Louise leads our Explorers 2-year-old provision with expertise and care. With a decade of service at South Hylton Primary Academy and nine years in a private nursery prior, Louise brings extensive experience to her role. She holds a Foundation Degree in Education and Care, along with a BA Hons in Education and Curriculum Studies.
