🎤 What a fantastic day for our budding comedians!
On Thursday, six of our amazing Key Stage 2 pupils took to the stage at The Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle for the Laidlaw Schools Trust Comedy Competition, as part of our ‘Talking to Entertain’ oracy focus this half term.
Each child went head-to-head with peers from across the trust, sharing their best jokes with confidence and charm. They had the audience laughing and truly did our school proud! 👏
🌟 Special congratulations to Faith in Year 6, who wowed everyone and took home the win for his year group! The professional comedian judge praised his fantastic stage presence and charisma—what an achievement!
