South Hylton Primary Academy - May 6
On 8 May 1945, people in Britain and across the world celebrated Victory in Europe, now known as VE Day. This marked the unconditional surrender of Germany and meant an end to nearly six years of a war.
This Thursday on May 8th 2025, we will celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE day by asking the children to come dressed in red, white and blue.
